One of the critical elements of Lowell High School's great success has been our talented and dedicated faculty, who have always exemplified the theme of our 2024-25 Annual Fund Campaign: Putting Students First.
And we've been particularly blessed to have more than 100 alumni give back by teaching at Lowell, beginning with Jack Partridge (Class of 1888) and Harry Wright (Class of 1890), both of whom began teaching Latin and Greek at Lowell in 1894. These alums, along with all of the other wonderful faculty, administrators, coaches and support staff, have contributed mightily to making the Lowell student experience among the best to be found in any American high school.
Now, as Lowell faces the prospect of significant and potentially devastating budget cuts for the next few years, we thought it best for you to hear directly from some of our nearly two dozen alums who teach at Lowell today because they know exactly how these cuts will impact our talented and hard-working students. Your support for this year's Annual Fund Campaign will help us prepare for the upcoming budget cuts and preserve as many student services as possible while the school district puts its fiscal ship in order.
Thanks for your generous participation in this year's campaign!
