A Critical Ask for Our Students

Help us Save Vital Programs

/ 150

After suffering a $3.1 million budget cut for the 2022-23 academic year (15% of our annual operating budget, nearly all of which is spent on faculty and staff salaries and benefits), we are bracing for continued cuts in 2023-24 due to the fiscal crisis facing the San Francisco Unified School District.

Programs threatened with reduction or elimination run the gamut from journalism and instrumental music to various language programs (French, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Latin), Advanced Placement classes (Psychology, Environmental Science, European History and Computer Science), Peer Resources and Yearbook. We may also lose our College and Career Center Director, one of our two librarians, our Theater Tech Director and other staff.

Your donation today will help us prepare for the continued budget cuts we anticipate for the 2023-24 academic year while continuing our other programs to benefit current students and alumni.

Thanks for your support in these exceptionally difficult times!
